We have worked together for many years, caring for the elderly in Assisted Living Facilities. In 2004, we decided to open our own Adult Family Home in Edmonds, WA.  During our years in business, we had to turn down many family members looking for a warm, comfortable home for their loved one, as we are often full. They would ask for suggestions of other homes in our area, sounding desperate and unsure of the process. We decided to become educated about other homes, looking for their strengths and weaknesses and meeting the owners and caregivers. This allows us to help those family members in the difficult transition process.
